Montreal, Quebec, November 12, 2020 – ELLE Fictions celebrates the spring wedding season by premiering its first original production Elle a dit oui, in April 2021. Every week, talented hostess Julie Ringuette, will welcome a Quebec celebrity to reminisce about their wedding day. Together, they’ll flashback to special moments leading up to the celebration, while discussing all the details that made it so unique. Produced by Attractions Image, the show promises touching, emotionally-charged moments filled with music, memories and much more.
This spring, weddings are front and center at ELLE Fictions! And by examining every detail of this momentous day in the lives of their favourite stars, the channel promises an exciting, sentimental escape for viewers at home. While the emotional charge of a wedding is irreplaceable, the memories that linger deserve to be shared. From the engagement to the big day, guests will recount amusing, sometimes poignant, behind-the-scenes stories, including the planning and preparations, choosing the dress and many other related details. Retracing moments from the time they said “yes!” will allow relatives and friends to add their own memories about the romance. There will be laughing, sighing and more than a few happy tears.
“2020-2021, quite a busy year for me, with a new baby, a new talk show and a decade of matrimony! I am very happy to host this TV premiere, one that will allow me to discuss the most beautiful day of my guests’ life with them. I’m committed to ensure encounters that are filled with lots complicity, emotions and humor! I can’t wait to start filming!” said host Julie Ringuette.
Music will also play an important role during Elle a dit oui. A full segment will be dedicated to songs that mattered. From the emotional wedding march, to that romantic first dance or the tunes that unified the crowd late into the night, melodies will serve up memories for every unique moment!
