Montréal, le 27 août – Starting September 1st, MAX sets the tone for the fall season with six brand-new series, two eagerly awaited returns, and a fresh slate of movies to enjoy every week.

Building on its strong line-up of classic crime dramas with Les recrues de la 15e (Rookie Blue) and Les Experts (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation), MAX now brings exclusive premieres to Quebec audiences with Flashback and Zorro.

The CinéMAX movie line-up has been enhanced with award-winning titles. Movie lovers can tune in Fridays at 9 p.m. and Saturdays at 8 p.m. to catch standout films like Mystic River (Sean Penn), Runaway Bride (Julia Roberts, Richard Gere), John Q (Denzel Washington), and We Were Soldiers (Mel Gibson), along with many more gems to (re)discover each week.

Max goes into investigation mode

Friday nights at 7 p.m., MAX leans into suspense with murder mystery made for tv movies, including new titles of César Wagner and Prière d’enquêter.

Starring Oscar-winning actor Jean Dujardin (The Artist, OSS 117), Zorro is a bold reimagining of the legendary hero, directed by acclaimed showrunners Benjamin Charbit and Noé Debré.

Set in 1821, Diego de la Vega, now mayor of Los Angeles, must wear the mask again to face a corrupt businessman threatening the city’s future… and his own. Filmed in Spain, this modern take promises action, drama and political intrigue.

Killing Eve / Premieres September 1st at 7 p.m.

Critically acclaimed psychological thriller Killing Eve follows Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh), an MI5 agent on the trail of Villanelle (Jodie Comer), a contract killer as brilliant as she is unpredictable.
